Egypt keeper Essam Al-Hadari helped Merreikh register their 10th straight victory in the Sudanese league, thrashing Hilal Kadougli 6-0 on Monday.

Zambian striker Jonas Sakuwaha hit four goals, the first of which was set up by a long ball from Al-Hadari midway through the first half.

Moassab Omar and Mohamed Othman completed the rout to give Egyptian manager Hossam Al-Badri another victory.

Merreikh are comfortably in charge of the league table with a maximum 30 points from 10 games, 12 ahead of arch-rivals Hilal, who still have a couple of games in hand.

Al-Hadari, who also created a goal in a 2-1 win at Ittihad Medani earlier this month, has only conceded three goals so far this term.
