The referee’s report for this week’s league match between Ittihad and Gouna has been stolen by highway thugs at gunpoint, said FA representative Gamal Beshir.

Beshir, who was present at Alexandria Stadium to supervise the week 21 clash, confirmed he has been robbed of all his possessions, including the match report, while on his way to Cairo on Tuesday.

“It happened right after midnight when I had a flat tire and then I was attacked by three masked men who took everything in my car,” Beshir told FilGoal.com.

The game, officiated by Hungarian ref Tamas Bognar, witnessed the violent behavior of Ittihad fans who showered the visitors’ bench with empty bottles and stones prior to the kickoff.

After the game, the angry home fans turn against their own team, clashing with security guards in the Alexandria Stadium.
