Egypt squad for S.Africa announced

Egypt manager Hassan Shehata has named four players from Zamalek, another four from Ismaili for the Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa on June 5.

Previously, six Ahli players had been recalled for the crucial match.

Masri defender Hani Saied, Mohamed Nagib of Police Union and Masri goalie Ahmed Al-Shenawi were also included in the squad.

Egypt are languishing at the bottom of Group G with one point, six behind leaders South Africa.

The African champions have to beat the Bafana Bafana in Cairo to revive their Nations Cup qualification hopes.

Egypt's squad:

Goalkeepers: Essam Al-Hadari, Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed, Ahmed Al-Shenawi

Defenders: Wael Gomaa, Mahmoud Fathallah, Mohamed Naguib, Hani Saied

Midfielders: Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Elmohamady, Sayed Moawad, Ahmed Samir Farag, Hosni abd-Rabou, Hossam Ghaly, Amr Al-Sulaya, Ibrahim Salah, Ahmed Hassan

Strikers: Shikabala, Geddo, Abdullah Al-Saied, Mohamed Zidan, Ahmed Ali, Doudi Al-Gabbas, Al-Sayed Hamdi, Ahmed Abdul-Zaher
