Ahli will be without top scorer Mohamed Abou-Treika for at least two league games after he aggravated a calf injury in the weekend’s friendly game over Kuwait’s Salmiya.

“The scan suggested he will be absent for two or three weeks because of the same injury he suffered recently,” Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com.

“We will do our best to have him fit as soon as possible and I think he should make the Zamalek match after one month.”

Treika has been out of action for nearly a month, only to suffer a recurrence to his calf problem during the 1-0 at Salmiya.

He has been accordingly ruled out of Egypt’s crucial 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa next week.
