Last week, Al-Badri suddenly traveled to Canada, where his family live. He should return to Sudan on June 7.
Merreikh president Gamal Al-Wali voiced dissatisfaction over Al-Badri's abrupt departure.
"My relationship with Merreikh's official is good, especially club chairman Gamal Al-Wali," Al-Badri stated. "I'm seeking to win the (Sudanese) League and Cup too."
