"Hilal did not contact the player or any of his representatives," the club said in a statement on Saturday.

"Zidan is not even in our circle of interest as we start searching for new players."

The Dortmund man has just become the first Egyptian to win the Bundesliga title, but he played less then 90 minutes during the whole campaign due to injury.

Reports said he is no longer in Dortmund's plans for next season and Zidan told his official website that he already has three offers, one of them is from Hilal.

Zidan also said he wants to end his career in Ahli, who welcomed the gesture and said they might negotiate an immediate move.
