The league leaders insisted on having foreign referees for their matches since the infamous defeat to MCDR last month, prompting the Egyptian FA to appoint Tunisian Mohamed Kordi for the game with Police Union.
However, Zamalek don’t seem to be impressed by Kordi’s performance as they gave the FA two options to choose from for their six remaining games.
A statement from the Whites indicated that should the FA find difficulties bearing the expenses of hiring European referees, the club are ready to accept Egyptian refereeing instead.
