Egypt remained in 31st place in the FIFA ranking for national teams for the month of December.

The Pharaohs played no games since the last FIFA ranking that saw them slip two spots after losing 2-0 from Brazil in a friendly, relinquishing the lead of Arab nations to Algeria.

Egypt remained second behind their North African neighbors among Arab nations and fourth among African teams as Ivory Coast are in charge of the Dark continent.

There were no significant changes in the top 50 as world champions Spain remained at the top of the table.
