Zamalek are considering filing a complaint to CAF against Ghana’s Berekum Chelsea, claiming their Champions League hosts had not provided them with enough security.

The Whites’ website stated a ‘number of obstacles’ the team have been facing since arriving in Accra, where the Group B opener against Chelsea takes place.

Zamalek said their squad have not been provided with any security while on their way to the training ground, forcing a session to be delayed for an hour.

The Cairo club also voiced their discontent with the ‘mediocre level of their hotel’ as well as the ‘poor training ground’, claiming both issues are ‘against the regulations of CAF’.

Chelsea are making their Champions League debut while Zamalek are already five-time champions.
