Luanda (the capital)


It is the capital of Angola and the country's largest city that is located on Angola's coast with the Atlantic Ocean. It is also the country's chief port and administrative center.

Luanda, whose people suffer from tough living conditions, is considered the most expensive city in the world.


11 de Novembro Stadium, Luanda


The 11 de Novembro Stadium is established to become the biggest football venue in Angola, holding a capacity of 50,000 spectators.

Located in the Angolan capital, the new stadium is provided with three rings, panoramic elevators, VIP areas, presidential and press tribunes, special facilities for handicapped people and several restaurants.

It will stage five matches out of six, including the opener, from Group A, five knockout games and the final on January 31st.

Cabinda


It is a city that is located in the Cabinda province, an exclave of Angola. It was geographically part of Angola but was separated from it in 1885.

Angola's sovereignty over the city is disrupted by the unrecognized government of "the Republic of Cabinda".

Cabinda's oil production accounts for most of Angola's output.


Chiazi National Stadium, Cabinda


Located in the coastal province Cabinda, the Chiazi National Stadium is expected to be one of the most beautiful venues in Angola.
It will mainly host Group B matches. Also called Estadio Chimandela, the capacity of new stadium is around 20,000 spectators.

Benguela


It is Angola's second most famous city and self-appointed cultural capital which is known for its charming beaches.

Most people in Benguela earn their living by fishing, which is a great practice in the city.


Ombaka National Stadium, Benguela


Located in the neighborhood of Nossa Senhora da Graca, the characteristics of the Ombaka National Stadium resemble that of Europe's largest stadia.

It holds up to 35,000, which makes it the second-largest stadium in Angola after the 11 de Novembro.

Lubango


Lubango is the capital city of the Angolan province of Huila. It boasts a major airport and headquarters for a fighter bomber regiment of the Angolan Air Force.

The city's economy is based on agriculture. Food processing, leather tanning, and consumer goods industries dominate the industrial sector


Tundavala National Stadium, Lubango


This stadium is framed by a unique landscape in the province of Huila, which has an altitude of 1,761m and a Mediterranean-type climate.

The characteristics of Lubango make it a perfect place for a team preparing for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Also referred to as Estadio Alto de Chela, the Tundavala Stadium has a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
