David Trezeguet said on Sunday he might consider backtracking on plans to quit Juventus at the end of the season.

"I'll rethink about it," the former France striker was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta Sportiva.

"I'll talk about it with my family. These fans and this team are the best. Later we'll see, with the help of my team mates, the coach and the club."

Trezeguet, who was handed a starting berth after Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara rested Vincenzo Iaquinta, scored in the team's 2-0 victory over Lazio in the Serie A on Saturday.

He hopes to enjoy an injury-free campaign this season.

"Last year I suffered a lot because of injuries, but also because of choices which didn't allow me to give my contribution," Trezeguet stated.

"I've worked a lot to get back to my levels, I'm still working, my team mates are helping me, I'm happy I got to this point. I hope to continue giving my contribution."
