Ahli have just two strikers available going into Saturday's Egyptian Cup first-round game against second-division side Nabaroh.

Back-up strikers Mohamed Fadl and Ahmed Belal will spearhead Ahli's attack against their unfancied opponents in the absence of Emad Meteb, Osama Hosni and Francis Doe.

The team's top scorer Meteb is facing two months on the sidelines due to a back injury while Hosni is out through a knee complaint.

Liberian striker Doe, who has yet to win over the fans after joining Ahli last summer, will miss out for personal reasons.

The Red Devils, who won a sixth consecutive league title, welcome back their key regular players after they were rested for the last few league games.

Left-back Sayed Moawad is the only regular player Ahli coach Hossam Al-Badri preferred to rest for the Nabaroh game. Angolan Gilberto is expected to deputize for him.

Ahli are seeking to win their first Egyptian Cup title since 2007 and the 36th in their history.

They are expected to meet arch-rivals Zamalek in the round of 16 if they overcome Nabaroh.
