Zamalek defender Mahmoud Fathallah says it's too early to meet Club Africain in the CAF Champions League.

The Whites will face the Tunisian outfit in the competition's round of 32 after registering a 5-0 aggregate win over Ulinzi Stars.

Zamalek and Africain are title contenders and it's not fair for both teams to lock horns at this point, Fathallah believes.

"The draw of the Champions League is unfair because both teams have a lot of experience that makes them able to compete for the title," the Egypt man told FilGoal.com.

"It would have been better if such a game was set up in the next round or in a more advanced stage.

"It will be unfair for the winners and the losers; the team that will go through will have consumed a lot of their power by the time the secure qualification."

Zamalek are holding a training camp in Syria in preparation for the game.
